Is there free virus protection software that i cna download from the Yahoo site?

ok my mom is tripping that she just bought a computer for the house and i put world of warcraft on it and my uncle told her that thats not good and its going to mess up the computer and make it slow and stuffhere the someof the specs for the computer: intel® Core™2 Duo desktoprocessorE6550 with 2 processing cores, 1333MHz system bus, 4MB L2 cache and 2.33GHz processor speed per core3GB DDR2 SDRAM for multitasking power, expandable to 4GBlntel® Core™2 Duo processor l® Core™ microarchitecture,500GB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 rpm)

when im finished with it and i delete it and i find and get it leftover folders and defragment the comp. and we always run a check once a week with avg virus and spam protection software. and block those pesky starup idems you dont need. will it stillopen apps at the snap of the fingers and listen to music, chatting online all,burn cd al be done at once simutaiously

I hear arguments about Norton and other programs, and I’m not sure which to buy now.

Hi, I want to get a paid subscription for Anti-spam, anti-virus, and anti-hack etc. Which company is the best? I recently found out that i have a lot of viruses on my computer. I have McAfee but that was just a trial and it ended two years ago. I downloaded the free versions of Spy Sweeper, and Adware SE Personal. SpySweeper requires me to pay in order to remove the spyware, but Adware SE Personal lets me quarantine and remove the spyware and adware but it has limited functionality. Which one should i buy? Name any brand that you know is good.

Please suggest me which one is better among these -
1. NOD32 Anti-virus v3,
2. ESET Smart Security v3,
3. Kaspersky (latest version),
4. Trend Micro (latest version),
5. BitDefender Total Security 2009.

The other day I was trying to watch a movie online and it said that I needed some kind of ActiveX Object. Me, being ignorant at the time, downloaded it, and while norton virus scanner expired. The thing downloaded onto my desktop. then a couple seconds later, the *supposed* install file disappeared… then I started getting these stupid messages about needing the latest windows virus protection software… blah dee blah… and I tracked the program to a init.exe (I think)…

Anyways, I eventually found the stupid spamware/virus or whatever, under program files… deleted it with compromt and the problem stopped… for a while.

Then I started getting blue screens……………………. jeezzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

So this piece of shit that microsoft had created to spam me about some virus protector was also MALICIOUS… F**K YOU MICROSOFT!!!

Anyways. So now my system is all funky…

What should I do?

PS. I didnt get an OS disk when I bought this computer …. + I dont really hate MS [:
I RREEAALLYY hate these fucking losers that create viruses. Get a fucking life you douche bags!
