Free Anti Spam Software

i need anti virus software, but would like to know if i could get it for free anywhere without it being spam or a virus itself. thank you!

It looks like one of those where they try to trick you into signing up for some anti virus you dont even need, how can I get rid of this ? has anyone ever had this problem before ? I dont have an anti virus currently so I know this could be an issue but i can also tell the difference between a legit offer and a spam pop up and I know thats what this is….

I have McAfee Total Protection installed and it does not find anything. I also have run Microsoft Malicious Software too, with nothing found. I still keep getting these popups that are just ads. WHY?!?
Additionally:
My firewall is enabled.
McAfee Total Protection is supposed to cover spyware, adware, malware, etc. It’s as 12-in-1 product.
I ran adaware prior to purchasing McAfee and it found nothing.
Spykiller also found nothing.
My pop-up blocker is also enabled.

I am getting up to 1200 mails a day addressed to a non existant user (usually starts with edona….@) as the user name). My name is Denis@.
I have no individual acccounts set on on OE. Would doing this enable me to filter tham? How would I do this?
What else can I do? My ISP will change my account, but I don’t really want the hassle of doing this.

Alright, so I’m doing this again, because I was a little confused the first time and need some more advice.

I have an HP computer, its about 2 or 3 years old (shut up =)
but I love it to death.

It came with Norton Internet Security AntiVirus 2005, and I guess it’s been working okay.

I’ve heard a lot of people complain about Norton, and I’m looking into buying new software.

So what should I get?
I need the spyware, the virus, the spam and all protection.
I use Firefox ALL THE TIME!
I have AIM.
I want something easy, fast, helpful, and at a suitable price.

So, what should I get?

Some mail header named X-Spam-Detected. I want to create a rule to express when a message has X-Spam-Detected header. How to do ? I have tried contains * . Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
I had created a customized header for X-Spam-Detected. The problem is, there is no true/false value for contains condition to choose. Only a normal text field to enter. I have tried *, but no luck.
