how do i stop spam email?

i literally get like 100-200 spam emails a day and i dont want that.(who would) so is there a way to stop it???? oh and my yahoo only declares like 70 emails a day as actual spam what can i do

Uhhhhhhhh….press all..then delete forever?
you need to send them all to spam every time you get one, sometimes i open them and at the bottom it will say do you want to unsubscribe,,and i send it back to them,it helps alot of it from coming in,,good luck.
You got two options:
1) Mass report ALL spam to Yahoo, which in turn trashes and deletes them. Yahoo’s spam filter is commendable in it’s efforts to curb spam–but sadly, to date–there’s NO 100% effective filter to weed out ANY and ALL spam.
2) Create a whole new email account, advise your known friends and contacts, delete the old address book–then close out the infected e-account.
Personally, I’d choose option #2–and get the free downloads called Crap Cleaner and Spybot Search N’ Destroy–both excellent programs geared towards sweeping your PC or laptop hard drive of spyware tags spammers rely on. You might question the effectiveness of your virus scanner; update it or maybe find another one. I recommend the FREE version of AVG.
Also, be careful what sites you visit–many are laden with spammer spyware/malware bugs. NEVER reply to strange emails from people you do not know. NEVER reply to those dumb chain e-mails, often started by a spammer to gain e-addresses. Clever spammers have forged legit looking emails, offering a UNSUBSCRIBE link that should ALWAYS be avoided; delete them out right. And manage your spam intake: if it’s SPAM–report it to Yahoo.
When you enter a contest or shop online, remember you run risks of whoever you deal with sell or hand over your e-address to a spammer (a fine print condition of their Privacy Policy; an oxymoron if ever were any). Many people are reporting business who deal with spammers to the Better Business Bureau—and it seems the effort IS working. Legit businesses, fearing the BBB black eye—are starting to shun the spammers, thus drying up the spammer feed lines.
Scammer SPAM emails are the most serious ones–often generated overseas. Report those to INTERPOL. U.S. generated scam SPAM should be reported to the FBI.
With some organization on your part, these efforts are not burdensome—and WILL limit your intake of spam in your e-mailbox.
I get around 250-400 spam messages, half of which are recognized as such by the Yahoo spam filter. Since 6 years, I carefully mark the ones which still reach my inbox as spam and report them by pressing the appropriate button. However, this does not seem to have any real effect. In particular, messages almost identical to those which have been reported as spam a hundred times are still reaching the inbox and not the spam box. I understand that Yahoo may be reluctant to release any information on how the spam filter works to prevent spammers from by-passing the filter, but after 6 years of experience I doubt whether the Yahoo’s Spam Guard has any effect at all. Perhaps it is just made to give you the feeling that you have done something …
You probably need to get an email address with your own domain (not an yahoo.com or aol.com email).
Doing this then broadens what type of email spam filter you can get, including top of the line professional ones which will reduce your email to almost nothing.
